Meeting Minutes November 12, 1976
- The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wayman Presley. The first order of business was a report by C. J. Ryoo – Rep of R. A. Knack and Associates. Motion was made by Betty Casey that items No 1 and 3 be accepted. Item #1 Waterline Extension to Jack Earll’s property and Item #3 Extension to Edna Harris Road be a total of 19,690 be accepted. Motion was seconded by Dan McGuire. Motion carried subject to F.H.A approval. An amendment was made by Betty Casey that we accept all items except item #2 Installation of Water to Mable Schwartz property as we have enough money to cover all other items. Dan McGuired seconded the motion. Motion carried.
- John Hammel recommends that George Sides read the meters from the 1st to the 5th of the month and take care of the tank or we find a new meter man. C. J. Ryoo informed us of the main meter, pump and tank should be checked the same time every day. As George is not in attendance. Wayman volunteered to inform George of his duties. Motion was made by Barbara Rendleman seconded by Dan McGuire that the first time George fails to perform any or all of his duties he be dismissed. Motion carried. Keith Williams was present and applied for the job.
- Motion was made by Dan McGuire a notice should be mailed to everybody 30 days past due, give an additional 10 days shut off at a cost of $5.00 per shut off $5.00 to be turned bak on (Money goes to Maintenance man) seconded by Barbara, motion carried. Changes of installation of new meter will be $300.00 per meter plus additional cost to user and there shall be one meter one dwelling, and commercial meter should be even. Motion carried.
- Wayman informed us Robert Presley has resigned along with C. J. Dusch, Betty Hartline Casey also wish to resign.
