Meeting Minutes of Special Meeting April 25, 1977
A discussion was held of the apparent cause of the failure and flooding of the pump station on Springer Ridge Road on February 1, 1977. The pump station was checked on January 31, 1977 at 3:00 p.m. by George Sides at which time there was about 2 inches of water in the bottom. The station was checked again at 6:30 a.m. on February 1, 1977 by CI Ryoo at which time there was approximately 5 inches of water, and checked again the
same day between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and found to be completely flooded, this time checked by Jerry Smith. A representative of Rimbach Associates Inc. said it could not possibly happen that way! After much argumentation it was asked by L. D. Fern to split the cost three ways for repairs. The bill totaling approximately $1,160.00 Split, the portions amount to about $386.00 each.
A motion was made by Barbara Schauwecker and seconded by Floyd Allen to pay our portion, all in favor.
