Meeting Minutes of March 13, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Walter Brieschke. The roll was called. Present were William Hardenbergh, Douglas Mayer, Phoebe Cox, and Walter Brieschke. Vern Cornell, Richard Parrish, and Fran Voss were absent from the meeting. Employees present were Becky Roberts and Mike Huskey.
The minutes of the February 13, 1986 meeting were approved as submitted.
Customer Requests: Mr. Mehdi Zargham was present to find out what he would have to do to get a water line to his property. His property is located approximately one mile south of our water tower. Mr. Jerry Burton also inquired about this for is property at an earlier date with Mike Huskey. His property is located immediately south of Mr. Zargham’s property. This was discussed but no decisions were made at this time.
Secretary/Treasurer report was read and accepted.
The Financial report was read and accepted.
Payment of Bills: The bills were presented in the amount of $4,266.14. Miss Cox made a motion to pay the bills as submitted. Mr. Hardenbergh seconded the motion. Roll call vote: Miss Cox – yes, Mr. Mayer – yes, Mr. Hardenbergh – yes, Mr. Brieschke – yes. Motion passed.
The Water Supply Operator report was given by Mr. Huskey.
SHWD Dispute: There was no new information on the case.
Committee to study water rates: This was tabled until Mr. Cornell was present.
Master Meter Discussion: This was tabled for further consideration at the next months meeting.
Audit: The audit is finished and waiting for Don Morgan’s approval.
Reply from GTE on reimbursement for $87.50: GTE does not intend to reimburse the $87.50. Their letter is to be filed. Also when the dig number JULIE is called (1-800-892-0123) a cable number is given to verify the call. This cable number is to be put on the work orders from now on.
The letter received from the Health Department is to be referred to Eugenia Hunter.
Mr. Hardenbergh made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Miss Cox seconded. All in favor voice vote. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm.
