MINUTES OF JULY 8, 1975
Held July 8, 1975
Those present were Dan McGuire, Harvey Hartline, Sr., Robert Presley, Sr., Rudy Lloyd, Superintendent of L. D. Fern Construction Company, and C. I. Ryoo, engineer.
MOTION, By Mr. Hartline to approve payment of contract No. 1 in the amount of $74,376.51 to L. D. Fern Construction Company. Mr. McGuire seconded the motion.
VOTE: All those present voted approval. Robert Presley, acting as chairman in the absence of Wayman Presley, casting his vote also.
MOTION, By Mr. Hartline that the check be written for $8,592.75 as recommended by Mr. Ryoo, for payment of contract No. 2. Mr. McGuire seconded the motion.
VOTE: All those present voted approval. Robert Presley, acting as chairman in the absence of Wayman Presley, casting his vote also.
A bill was presented by Mr. Ryoo from Harold Printing Company in the amount of $124.15 for bonds being printed.
MOTION, By Mr. McGuire to pay the bill to Harold Printing Company. Mr. Hartline seconded the motion.
VOTE: All those present voted approval. Robert Presley again casting Wayman Presley’s vote in his absence.
Mr. Ryoo stated the total design engineering fee at $40,823.98, of which $32,659.18 has already been paid. As stated in the letter to the Chairman of the Water District, another $8,164.80 is due during construction. Construction being 30 percent complete, 30 percent of this amount is now due, that amount being $2,449.44.
A construction engineering bill was presented by R. A. Nack to the Chairman of the Water District in a letter dated July 7, in the amount of $1,329.40. This amount is for field cost plus mileage.
MOTION, By Mr. Hartline that the bill be paid. Mr. McGuire seconded the motion.
VOTE: All those present voted approval, with Robert Presley casting Wayman Presley’s vote in his absence.
MOTION, By Mr. McGuire, to approve request for $40,000.00 for the July 1 to 31 period. Mr. Hartline seconded the motion.
VOTE: All votes were yes with Wayman Presley’s vote being cast by Robert Presley.
All bills were signed by Robert Presley for Wayman Presley.
Mr. Lloyd was informed that the checks would be mailed tomorrow, July 9.1085.
The meeting was informally dismissed at 5:20 p.m.
