Meeting Minutes of November 8, 1977

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Minutes were read of previous meeting, no additions or corrections. Presentation of Bills:

Dean Bush – for placing of Flamm’s meter $476.75, also includes

6 new lids, 3/4 inch meter, gaskets, and 1 1/2 inch meter at Flamm’s. Motion made to pay by Jack Earll, and seconded by Jeff Rowan.

Treasurer’s Report – Copy attached. Correspondence:

Wayman Presley has written to Mr. Swietzer that the district’s responsibility lies to our own district.

Old Business:

A motion was made by Jack Earll, and seconded by Walt Brieschke, to table the insurance proposal until it can be discussed with South Highway Water District.

A Mr. Ralph Milligan will serve as our operator until Henry Colson is qualified.

A motion was made by Floyd Allen and seconded by Walter Brieschke that a notation be made in the book when meters are pulled and the tap fee hasn’t been paid. All in favor.

New Business:

A letter is to be written to a Richard Peterson of Rt. #1 Box SO, Makanda, who now owns the Lloyd Sarver prope1.ty, about the note for the original tap fee of $100.00, plus 8% interest since original date of note which is 6/23/75. Also write to Holly Craig, and Orbie Morrison that it will now cost them $300.00 for their tap.

Land by Hunter – Busch’s estimate is $5,200.00 for a 2 inch line, people living in area must discuss this matter.

Mr. Kelly must do his own fight with South Highway, as they will not respond to our correspondence. on this matter.

Board Comments – Dean Busch should fill in from Hilliard’s drive down to Jack Earll’s property.
