Special Meeting Minutes of May 26, 1981

Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m.

Roll Call – Mr. Simpson, present; Mr. Jackson, present; Miss Cox, present; Mr. Hardenbergh, present; Mr. Mayer, present; Mr. Brieschke, present.

Motion by Mr. Jackson, seconded by Mr. Simpson to approved the annexation territory described as “The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 10 South, Range 1 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Illinois, EXCEPT that part theretofore conveyed to the City of Carbondale, Illinois, by deed recorded in Book 469 at page 532 and re-recorded in Book 470 at page 161 as corrected by subsequent corrective deed AND ALSO EXCEPT all that part theretofore conveyed to J. Charles Kelley and Ellen Abbott Kelley by deed recorded in Book 355 at page 575 as corrected by subsequent corrective deed or deeds” in the ORDER ANNEXING TERRITORY TO BUNCOMBE WATER DISTRICT, NO. 81-MR-45 on 4 May 1981 by Judge Bill F. Green.

Roll call vote on the motion: Mr. Simpson, Yes; Mr. Jackson, Yes; Miss Cox, Yes; Mr. Hardenbergh, Yes; Mr. Mayer, Yes; Mr. Brieschke, Yes. – Motion passed.

Motion to adjourn special meeting by Miss Cox, seconded by Mr. Hardenbergh. Voice vote: All present voted yes – motion passed.
