Special Meeting Minutes of May 27, 1987

The special meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.

The purpose of this special meeting is for the purpose of hiring a Water Supply Operator only.

Present were: Mr. Walter Brieschke, Mr. William Hardenbergh, Mr. Douglas Mayer, Mr. Vern Cornell, Miss Phoebe Cox, and Mrs. Fran Voss.

Interviewed were Mr. Anthony (Tony) Milam and Mr. Walter Bulter.

A motion was made by Miss Cox and seconded by Mr. Vern Cornell to fire Mr. Walter Butler to begin on May 1, 1987, under the terms and conditions of the revised employment agreement to be paid $300 per month with the addition of $25.00 per month to be added upon successfully acquiring an IEPA Class D Water Supply Operator License. Mr. Butler is to be paid to read customer meters with Mr. Huskey at the end of April in order to familiarize himself with that aspect of the district. Mr. Mayer and Mr. Brieschke will provide the other training and orientation necessary as will Mrs. Roberts. Roll call vote: Mrs. Fran Voss – yes, Miss Phoebe Cox – yes, Mr. Vern Cornell – yes, Mr. William Hardenbergh – yes, Mr. Douglas Mayer – yes, Mr. Walter Brieschke – yes. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Hardenbergh and seconded by Mrs. Voss to adjourn the special meeting at 8:20pm.
